Depending on the climatic conditions, the roof slope is designed, but not less than 22 degrees. The roof is covered from right to left, starting from the eaves towards the ridge. Each subsequent row is shifted by half the width of the tile. Half tiles are obtained by cutting whole tiles on site. When laying the tiles, care must be taken to ensure that the tile noses fully rest on the battens, while the lower part completely rests on the upper part of the lower row of tiles. If necessary, it is possible to tie the tiles to the battens with wire. Securing the tiles is necessary due to the effect of wind to prevent them from being lifted and moved to another position.
