Depending on the climatic conditions, the roof pitch is designed, but not less than 22 degrees. The roof is covered from right to left, starting from the eaves towards the ridge. Roof tiles are laid on a flat surface in two rows of 12 pieces each, interconnected by interlocks to form a stable unit. The connected roof tiles in the longitudinal direction are spaced out as much as the interlock allows, to measure the maximum distance, i.e., the greatest length between two identical points on the first and eleventh tile. Roof tiles are then separated and reconnected. They are individually compressed as much as the interlock allows, to measure the minimum distance according to the previously described procedure. When installing the tile, ensure that the tile noses fully rest on the battens, while the lower part completely rests on the upper part of the lower row of roof tiles.
